Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale is an American basketball professional for the Dallas Wings in the Women's National Basketball Association. She was drafted with the 5th overall selection in the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings. Arike Ogunbowale, born in Milwaukee Wisconsin on March 2 1997, was the daughter of Yolanda Ogunbowale and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale is her 26 year old brother, and Dare Ogunbowale, 20 years older. Her parents spoiled her the most since she was the most young. Gregory, her father, was involved in her father's army, the Nigerian Army quite a while. Ogunbowale is from a vivacious family. Her brother Dare played football and Yolanda, her mother, played softball. Her aunt played volleyball at UAPB and her cousin Endia Oliver also plays volleyball in Tennessee State. Her high school career by registering 73 career games and lists her career's totals as 1,477 points and 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale won gold medals at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship, 2014. FIBA U17 World Championship, and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. This year's USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team was announced on 7th July 2014.
